Men’s Golf Opens Dennis Rose Tourney in 16th

WAIMEA, Hawai'i – The Chaminade University men's golf team on Monday opened the Dennis Rose Invitational at 16th with a 306 at the par-72 Mauna Lani Golf Course.
 
Ethan Alexander (New Rochelle, N.Y./Fordham Prep), Ky Stopp (Long Beach, Calif./Woodrow Wilson) and Blake Buonopane (Rowley, Mass./St. John's Prep) each had opening rounds 4-over-par 76s for the Silverswords.
 
Jack Yeager (San Clemente, Calif./JSerra Catholic) opened with a 6-over 78 while A.J. Dahlk (Centerport, N.Y./Harborfields) shot a 10-over 72.
 
Colorado Christian University is the team leader at 270, leading by 11 strokes over Cal State East Bay. In the individual race, CCU has the top four including tri-leaders, Sungyeop Cho, Sangha Park and Ben Fowler, each at 6-under 66 while Adam Duncan is a shot back entering Tuesday's final round.
