WAIMEA, Hawai'i – The Chaminade University men's golf team on Tuesday concluded the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate in 18th place at the par-72, 6,913-yard Mauna Lani Golf Course.
The Silverswords shot a final round 308 to finish at 614.
Ky Stopp (Long Beach, Calif./Woodrow Wilson) was the 'Swords' low scorer, carding a 1-over-par 73 in the finale to finish at 5-over 149.
Ethan Alexander (New Rochelle, N.Y./Fordham Prep) wrapped up the tournament with a 151 after shooting 3-over in the final round.
Jack Yeager's (San Clemente, Calif./JSerra Catholic) 4-over 76 put him with a final score of 10-over 154.
Blake Buonopane (Rowley, Mass./St. John's Prep) shot 84 in the final 18 holes for a total of 160 followed by
A.J. Dahlk (Centerport, N.Y./Harborfields) who had an 85, finishing at 167.
Colorado Christian University won the team title with a 546, finishing 17 shots ahead of runner-up Sonoma State.
CCU teammates Sungyeop Cho and Sangha Park both finished at 10-under 134 as the individual co-champs.
The Silverswords will remain on the west side of the Big Island for this weekend's Hawai'i Pacific Sharks Shootout which begins Friday at the par-72 Waikoloa Beach Course.
