Kawainui Anderson (Kailua, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Kamehameha-Kapalama) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Female and Male Silversword Athletes of the Week for competition between Oct. 21 to 28.
Chong set a personal-best 6-kilometer time of 25:28.2 at the Pacific West Conference Cross Country Championships in Irvine, California, last Saturday. The sophomore was the third Silversword to cross the finish line and came in 71st of the 109 runners who finished.
Anderson scored his first career goal last Thursday at Azusa Pacific. The freshman ended this past weekend with eight games, all off the bench, and logging 208 minutes.
