Three members from the Chaminade University women's volleyball team were named Tuesday to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.

Middle blocker Lizanyela Lopez (Lima, Peru/Trinity Valley CC/Saco Oliveros HS), middle blocker Anna Stucchi (Roncello, Italy/Santa Clara University/I.I.S. Ezio Vanoni HS) and setter Grace Talpash (Temecula, Calif./University of Oklahoma/Great Oak HS) were all recognized for outstanding work in the classroom.

Lopez wrapped up her two-year career second in career hitting percentage at .335 and tied for 10th in total blocks with 204. Her blocks per set average is 0.88 which is tied for fifth. A two-time All-Pacific West Conference selection, the senior has a 3.63 grade-point average in Sports and Event Management.

Stucchi, the PacWest's Newcomer of the Year and all-conference first team honoree put together the most efficient attacking percentage by a Silversword, finishing with a school-record .433 percentile which led the PacWest and third in all of Division II in her only season in a Chaminade uniform. Named all-west region by the AVCA and D2CCA and the AVCA Division II All-America Third Team, Stucchi has a 4.00 GPA while studying for her MBA. It is her second CSC Academic All-District honor, having earned it last season at Santa Clara University.

Talpash had a memorable sixth and final year of athletic eligibility. After transferring from the University of Oklahoma in 2023 and spending the season as a reserve, the Temecula, California, native took the starting setting reigns and turned it into an All-American season. Earning All-PacWest First Team and Setter of the Year honors, Talpash set a single season record with 1,160 assists. She also added 101 kills, 240 digs, 41 total blocks and 36 service aces. Like Stucchi, Talpash earned all-region honors and was on the AVCA All-America honorable mention squad. She owns a 4.00 GPA for her MBA. Talpash also earned CSC Academic All-District honors in her final year at the University of Oklahoma in 2022.
