Elli Tsukano (Austin, Texas/James Bowie) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Silversword Male and Female Athletes of the Week for competition between Feb. 5-11.
Chambers picked up his first career win in relief in the baseball team's win over Hawai'i Pacific University in Hilo last Friday. The freshman tossed the final 4 1/3 hitless innings to help the Silverswords earn an 8-7 win in 12 innings.
Tsukano was part of the clinching team that got the beach volleyball team a 4-1 win over HPU in the program's first-ever match. The 'Swords had already won their first two matches with Tsukano and partner
Sophie Schilling getting their third win in a clinch scenario.
