LA MIRADA, Calif. – With the anticipation of heavy rain expected in the Southern California area over the weekend, the Chaminade University softball team's four-game series at Biola University was shortened to a three-game series.
The Silverswords and Eagles will play a tripleheader on Friday with the regularly scheduled doubleheader moved up 30 minutes to a first-pitch time of 11:30 a.m. Pacific Daylight (8:30 a.m. Hawai'i Standard). The second game will follow at 2 p.m. Pacific (11 a.m. Hawaiian).
The third game is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. PDT (2 p.m. HST).
The Silverswords are 10-10 overall and currently third in the Pacific West Conference standings at 6-4, one game behind second-place Azusa Pacific.
