HONOLULU – Chaminade University Athletics has launched the nomination process for its Hall of Fame Class of 2026. The Hall of Fame honors former Silverswords Intercollegiate athletes, teams, coaches and contributors for the commitment, impact and contributions to Silverswords Athletics.
The deadline to submit nominations is Wednesday, Dec. 3. Click here to access the nomination form.
All nominees must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the By-Laws (
click here) and the following selection criteria:
- Good academic standing with the University.
- Olympic participation and performance (medal winner, participant).
- National recognition (Player/Coach of the Year, Academic/Athletic All-American, championships, record holder, etc.).
- Conference recognition (Player/Coach of the Year, Academic/Athletic All-Conference, championships, record holder, etc.).
- Program development and progress (record, championships, national championship appearances, reputation enhancement, etc.).
- Acknowledgment of contributions to community and campus.
- Must be a person of unquestionable integrity and reputation in all phases of life and career.
Winners will be selected and notified in early 2026 and the honorees will be recognized at the Silverswords Gala on March 28, 2026 to be held at the Japanese Cultural Center in Mo'ili'ili.
