HONOLULU – Registration for the Chaminade University softball team's Elite Rise Up Camp is now open with online registration.
The camp will once again feature University of Washington national championship-winning head coach Heather Tarr and her assistants, along with Silverswords head coach
Kent Yamaguchi and his coaching staff, at the Sand Island Softball Complex from Dec. 6-7.
This year's format will be team-based and will be open to squads in the 12U, 14U and 16U divisions. Teams will need one pitcher, one catcher and seven position players. The cost is $900 per team.
Individuals who want to participate but don't have a team can also register for $100 per person. Individuals will be placed together to form a team or put on teams that still have open positions. Please denote the age group of the individual.
On both days, the camp begins with a separate pitching segment from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and is an additional $75 per day. Training sessions followed by live games start at 10 a.m. and finishes at 4 p.m.
