Selena Buttery (Brockway, Pa./Brockway) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Male and Female Silversword Athletes of the Week for competition between Dec. 1-7.
MacDonald totaled 21 points and 12 rebounds while shooting nearly 59 percent from the field in helping the men's basketball team defeating rival Hawai'i Pacific and Hawai'i Hilo to open the PacWest season at 2-0.
Buttery had 12 points and 10 boards in the women's basketball team's contests at HPU and UH Hilo. She hit 3-pointers in both games, extending her streak making at least one triple to seven straight dating back to the final game of last season.
