Larchelle Tuifao (Ewa Beach, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Kapolei) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Silversword Male and Female Athletes of the Week for competition between Jan. 27 and Feb. 2.
MacDonald totaled 29 points while shooting at a 65 percent clip last week in helping the men's basketball team win both games. The junior also pulled down 13 rebounds and blocked three shots. In Saturday's upset of Academy of Art, MacDonald had 17 points on 8-of-12 shooting.
Tuifao hit .375 with six RBI and three extra bases hits including a homer in the softball team's season-opening Concordia Kickoff Classic. Against 18th-ranked Northwest Nazarene, the senior went 3-for-3 with five RBI and a home run, en-route to being named on the all-tournament team.
