Volleyball Announces 2025 Recruiting Class

HONOLULU – Chaminade University women's volleyball head coach Kahala Kabalis Hoke on Wednesday announced the 2025 recruiting class, which includes two transfers and seven freshmen, one who is already attending Chaminade.
 
Alexis "Lillie" Hinton is a 6-2 outside hitter from Spicewood Texas, and was an early graduate from Lake Travis High School, enrolling at Chaminade this past spring and was a member of the Silverswords' beach volleyball team. She was ranked by PrepDig as the 34th overall player in the state of Texas in 2024 and was on the AVCA All-America Watch List. Her club team, Austin Performance, finished second at last year's GJNC Nationals Freedom Division and was named to the All-Tournament Team.
 
The two transfers are Audrah Radford and Alizaysha Sopi.
 
Radford, a 6-2 outside hitter from Nampa, Idaho, originally attended Division I Utah State University in Logan, Utah, in 2022 and sat out the season as a redshirt. A graduate of Nampa High School, Radford helped lead the Bulldogs to a second-place finish in the Southern Idaho Conference in 2021 and consecutive trips to the state finals for the first time in 26 years. She was the Idaho Player of the Year after recording 492 kills and a .415 hitting percentage.
 
Sopi is a Waianae, O'ahu native, who returns home after spending her junior season at Division I Tennessee State University in Nashville, starting 13 of the Tigers' 31 matches, totaling 91 kills, 102 digs, 25 total blocks and 16 service aces. Before attending TSU, "Toodie" went to junior college power College of Southern Idaho from 2022-23 with 589 career kills and earning Region 18 First Team honors as a sophomore. Sopi is a graduate of Kapolei High School where she helped lead the Hurricanes to three Hawai'i High School Athletic Association Division I Tournament appearances in 2018, '19 and '21.
 
Baldwin High School teammates Lilinoe Paschoal and Imani-Maile Hargis, will be incoming freshmen this coming fall after guiding the Bears to a 16-1 overall mark, the 2024 Maui Interscholastic League championship and the No. 3 seed in the HHSAA Division I tournament. Paschoal, a 5-8 setter from Wailuku, Maui, Hawai'i, was the 2024 MIL Division I Player of the Year and a four-time MIL selection while being named all-state twice
 
Hargis, a 6-1 middle blocker, earned All-MIL First Team honors this past season. She played for the Hawaiian Style Volleyball Club and was named to the Aloha Region Spring Break Madness Tournament All-Star Team.
 
Aliyah Hofherr-Sanders is a 5-9 right-side hitter from Hanalani School. The Mililani, O'ahu native helped the Royals capture the Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division III crown with a 12-1 mark and was the ILH Division III Player of the Year. She was also an ILH Division II Second Team selection in 2022. Hofherr-Sanders played club with the Ku'ikahi Volleyball Club.
 
Anna Karasinska is a 6-3 middle blocker from Nowa Ruda, Poland and has extensive international experience in juniors competition on both the indoor and beach courts. Most recently, the incoming freshman earned several quarterfinal and semifinal MVP honors for her #VolleyWroclaw U20 squad in both 2024 and '25. In several U20 international tournaments, Karasinska was named team MVP for the 2024 U20 Rawa Mazowiecka tournament and the best blocker award in the 2023 tournament.
 
Maylynn Mitchell is a 6-1 outside hitter from Orange Lutheran High School in Orange, California. Ranked as California's No. 15 player by PrepDig, she finished seventh in the state in total kills with 554 with a kills-per-set average of 4.9, in fall 2024 statistics compiled by MaxPreps. This past spring, Mitchell was on the PrepDig Watch List, the Samoa Bowl Most Valuable Player and the USA Volleyball National Championships All-Tournament Team.
 
Beele Wieczorek is a 6-2 right-side hitter from Wiesbaden, Germany. In the German junior championships, her U20 squads had three top-seven finishes from 2022-24. In the German School Championships, her teams took first place in 2019 and 2022. Most recently, her team earned third-place finishes in the second division championships twice in 2024 and 2025. She has been with her club team, VC Wiesbaden, since 2021.
 
The Silverswords return eight members from the 2024 team that went 28-5, capturing their third Pacific West Conference title in four year by finishing with a perfect 20-0 conference mark. The 'Swords open their season Aug. 28 at the Hawai'i/Alaska Challenge in Anchorage, Alaska. Their first home match will be Sept. 4 against Cal State Los Angeles in the Hawai'i Challenge.
