Cassie Chong (Mililani, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Mililani) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Male and Female Silversword Athletes of the Week for competition between Sept. 15 and 21.
Bergancia made his first appearance of the season in last Saturday's Chaminade Invitational, finishing seventh overall with a time of 19:14.0, the sophomore's fastest time in a 5-kilometer race.
Chong came in 10th in the women's Invitational, her third career top 10 finish. The junior clocked a finishing time of 23:12.6, becoming the second Silversword to cross the finish line.
