Anthony Fontanez (Belmar, N.J./St. Rose) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Female and Male Silversword Athletes of the Week for competition between Sept. 22-28.
Shimabukuro, a senior, scored her first career goal last Saturday at Dominican, powering a shot off a corner kick. The score came with the Silverswords trailing by a goal in the second half.
Fontanez enjoyed his second top eight finish in local races, coming in seventh in the HPU Invitational last Saturday. The freshman finished the 8-kilometer race in 36:08.1.
