Chaminade University men's golfer
Ethan Alexander (New Rochelle, N.Y./Fordham Prep) and women's cross country runner
Jocelyn Thomas (Tonganoxie, Kan./Kaiser, Honolulu) are the Silversword Male and Female Athletes of the Week for competition between Oct. 12-18.
Â
Alexander helped the Silverswords capture last weekend's Hawai'i Tri-Match at the Pearl at Kalauao course, the program's first win since capturing the PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship in May 2024. The 'Swords won in convincing fashion, topping runner-up Hawai'i Pacific by nine shots. Alexander, who was injured the entire 2025-26 season, finished fourth overall with a 3-over-par 147.
Â
Thomas finished fourth overall at Saturday's Chaminade Invitational, finishing the 6-kilometer Kapiolani Park course in 24-minutes, 49.6 seconds and was the first Silversword to cross the finish line.
