Chris Cody (Orange, Calif./Irvine Valley College/El Modena HS) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Female and Male Silversword Athletes of the Week for competition between Feb. 2-8.
Poling won both her matches in the Silverswords' two season-opening matches against Hawai'i Pacific University last week when she and playing partner
Aliya Hofherr-Sanders won their Flight 3 matches in a tie-breaking third set. In Tuesday's match against the Sharks, Poling's pairing was the clinching win.
Cody went six strong innings for the Silverswords' against Saint Martin's last Friday, tossing six innings with six strikeouts, allowing two runs on seven hits while walking just one to earn Chaminade its first win of the 2026 season.
