Baseball Garners ABCA Academic Team Award

The Chaminade University baseball team was honored for work in the classroom during the 2025-26 year with the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack.
 
The Silverswords were one of 500 collegiate teams to be recognized with the honor and have made the list all three seasons since the program was resurrected in 2023-24.
 
To be eligible for the award, the team's head coach must be a member of the ABCA and the team must have a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale during the academic year.
