Destiny Castro (Talofofo, Guam/Notre Dame HS) and
Isaac Amaral-Artharee (Portland, Ore./Central Catholic) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Silversword Female and Male Athletes of the Week, respectively, for contests between Jan. 6 and 12.

Castro averaged 25.3 points and four steals per game for the women's basketball team during the week. Her 76 total points were 18 more than the next highest player in the Pacific West Conference during the week and also led the conference in steals. She scored over 20 points in all three games with two 27-point outings including Saturday's win over Notre Dame de Namur. She also had five steals against the Argos. Castro was named the PacWest Defender of the Week on Monday and ranks third in the PacWest in scoring at 17.8 ppg and is sixth nationally in steals at 3.44. It is her second HPH Female Athlete of the Week honor this season.

Amaral-Artharee was honored by the PacWest on Monday as the league's Freshman of the Week. The redshirt freshman capped a 9.7 ppg week with a career-high 17 points with five 3-pointers in Saturday's win over NDNU. He also tallied five rebounds, four steals and three assists during the week. Amaral-Artharee is averaging 7.5 ppg this season which is fifth-best on the team.
