Chaminade University cross country runners
Elijah Bernardo-Flores (Waipahu, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Kamehameha-Kapalama) and
Caitlin Bocobo (Mililani, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Sacred Hearts) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Silversword Male and Female Athletes of the Week for the competition between Oct. 4 and 10.

Bernardo-Flores recorded a personal-best 8-kilometer time of 30 minutes, 28.9 seconds at this past Saturday's Chaminade Invitational. The graduate student recorded his second consecutive fifth-place overall finish.

In just her second race as a member of the women's team, Bocobo was the first 'Sword to cross the finish line of the 6-k event, logging a time of 23:08. The sophomore is also a member of the women's soccer team.
