This Saturday's Chaminade University men's and women's soccer season opener at Hawai'i Pacific University has been moved from Atherton Field at the former HPU-Hawai'i Loa campus to Saint Louis Field which is Chaminade's home pitch.
Â
The Silversword women will have the opening game at 12 p.m. followed by the men at 3 p.m.
Â
HPU will still serve as the host school and will be the home team for both contests.
Â
Because of the gathering rule set by both the State of Hawai'i and City and County of Honolulu, fans will not be allowed to gather to watch the games in person this season. Campus security will conduct screening to all visitors who come on to campus and the parking structure will be off-limits except for individuals who have official campus business such as HPU and Chaminade athletic administration, staff and coaches, CUH students and faculty attending weekend classes, church services or other type of non-athletics business at Chaminade and/or Saint Louis School.
Â
Campus security will also be making regular sweeps of the parking structure and other areas to discourage those loitering those areas.
Â
Both games will be video-streamed free of charge on HPU athletics' website,
HPUSharks.com.
