Taylor Genera is the Hawai'i Pacific Health Silversword Female Athlete of the Week for contests between March 22 and 28
The sophomore was instrumental in helping the Silverswords take all four games last weekend against Hawai'i Pacific University, earning two wins with her arm and another with her bat.
Genera won both her starts and had a weekend ERA of 2.33, tossing 15 innings with six strikeouts. At the plate, she was 7-for-15 with four RBI and two runs and had a walk-off single in the 10th inning in Game 2 of the series. She drove in a run in all four games and had three with two hits. Genera is currently on a five-game hitting streak.
There was no male award since no men's teams were in action during the week.
