Chaminade University softball player Malia Ka'akimaka-Moisa (Ewa Beach, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Campbell) is the Hawai'i Pacific Health Female Silversword Athlete of the Week for contests between April 26 and May 2.
The outfielder hit .308 over the weekend, scoring three runs and driving in another to help the Silverswords split their four-game series against Hawai'i Pacific University. She finished the season with a .299 average and led the 'Swords in walks with 15. She also struck out just four times in 67 at-bats.
There was no male award for the week.
