Chaminade University men's soccer goalkeeper
Brandon Yasue (Honolulu/Kaiser) has been named to the College Sports Communicators (formerly known as the College Sports Information Directors of America or CoSIDA) NCAA Division II Academic All-District Team.
A three-year starter, Yasue posted 66 saves with a 2.65 goals against average this past season and has 140 saves since becoming the team's starting keeper in the spring 2021 season.
He is currently taking Master's courses in Criminal Justice where he has posted a 4.00 grade-point average. Yasue has one more year of athletic eligibility and is expected to return the Silverswords in 2023.
Yasue advances to the CSC Academic All-America ballot which will be announced in early December.
The Division II CSC Academic All-America programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspect for the 2022-23 Division II Academic All-America programs.
