Chaminade University cross country runners
Owen Daugherty (Cedar Park, Texas/Cedar Park) and
Caitlin Bocobo (Mililani, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Mililani) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Silversword Male and Female Athletes of the Week for competition from Oct. 2-8.
Daugherty placed fourth overall in Saturday's men's 8-kilometer Hawai'i Pacific University Invitational at Kahuku Golf Course, completing the course in 30 minutes, 45 seconds in his final on-island race.
Bocobo also competed in her final race on O'ahu, becoming the first qualifying Silversword to finish the 6-k women's race, recording a time of 27:41.
