Amound Anderson (Los Angeles, Calif./Fullerton College/Leuzinger HS) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Silversword Female and Male Athletes of the Week for competition between Jan. 6-12.
Elmasri totaled 37 points, 17 rebounds and nine steals to help the Silverswords split their weekend home stand against Biola and nationally ranked Azusa Pacific. She had 17 points, seven rebounds and four steals in their 57-42 win over Biola on Thursday, the team's first-ever win against the Eagles. She collected her first double-double of the season against APU two days later with 20 points and 10 boards, adding five steals as well in their two-point loss.
Anderson totaled 34 points, making eight 3-pointers, with seven rebounds and five steals during the week. He had 24 points on six triples, five boards and four thefts against Biola, then capped his week with 10 points against Azusa Pacific with his 3-pointer with 8:18 left gave the 'Swords the lead to help them rally from a 14-point deficit.
