Chaminade University guards
Roland Banks II (Bakersfield, Calif./Fullerton College/Cathedral HS) and
Alyssa Schuetze (Temecula, Calif./Great Oak) are the Hawai'i Pacific Health Male and Female Silversword Athletes of the Week for competition between Jan. 13-19.
Banks totaled 29 points, six rebounds and four steals for the men's basketball team. He posted a season-high 24 points on 8-of-15 shooting at Point Loma on Saturday. Banks was 6-of-7 at the free throw line with three steals with a pair of assists against the Sea Lions.
Schuetze had 22 points and three rebounds for the women's basketball team during the week. The sophomore set a career high 14 points, making 5-of-8 shots at Fresno Pacific last Wednesday. She followed with eight points and a pair of boards Saturday at Point Loma.
