HONOLULU – The Chaminade University women's tennis team continued to make strides as the 2025 season progressed.
Kylie Ye (Laie, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Asia Pacific International School), the Silverswords' lone senior, was their most called-upon player, getting the nod as their No. 1 singles player eight times while being on the top doubles team in nine occasions.
Berylin Lau (Wailuku, Maui, Hawai'i/Kamehameha-Maui) covered the five remaining matches as their top singles player.
Kirra Carvalho (Lihue, Kaua'i, Hawai'i/Kaua'i) established herself with eight matches at No. 2 singles and five more at the third spot, which led the squad.
Lau and
Isabella Minaudo (Honolulu/Hawai'i Technology Academy) both played four matches at No. 3.
Selena Buttery (Brockway, Pa./Brockway) had the most matches in a single flight with 10 matches at No. 4.
Danica Palmer (Philadelphia/Upper Merion Area) had eight matches at No. 5 singles while
Carine Bleasdell (Kihei, Maui, Hawai'i/Hawai'i Technology Academy) had five decisions at No. 5 singles along with two matches in which she won by default.
In doubles, Carvalho and Buttery each played seven time at No. 2 while Bleasdell had seven matches in the third flight.
