The Chaminade University women's tennis team was recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) for their work in the classroom for the 2024-25 academic year.
The Silverswords earned ITA Division II All-Academic Team status for the ninth straight year, posting a team grade-point average of 3.57. Teams who have a minimum of 3.20 during the season are honored for the team award by the ITA.
The ITA Scholar-Athlete awards were also announced with six 'Swords garnering the award. They are:
Buttery and Carvalho earned honor for the third time while Bleasdell and Elmasri, the latter who was on the team but did not play due to injuries suffered as a member of the women's basketball squad, were recognized for the second time.
Student-athletes who had a minimum GPA of 3.50 during the academic year gained ITA Scholar-Athlete status.
