HONOLULU – The powerful storm system impacting the islands which prompted the closures of the University of Hawai'i and Chaminade University campuses on Friday, has forced the rescheduling of this weekend's Chaminade baseball series against Menlo College at UH's Les Murakami Stadium.
The Silverswords' single game against the Oaks on Friday will be moved to Sunday and paired with the originally scheduled game as a part of a nine- and seven-inning doubleheader at 1 and 4 p.m. while Saturday's twin bill will be moved to Monday at 2 and 5 p.m.
In addition to this weekend's baseball series, Chaminade's game against nationally-ranked Westmont scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, also at Les Murakami Stadium, will be moved to Thursday the 19th as a part of a twin bill. The doubleheader against the Warriors on Friday the 20th remains as scheduled.
