Chaminade Cross Country Competes at BYU-Hawaii Invitational

Men 4th, Women 3rd

CUH harriers in previous action

Laie, HI- John Hansen (Fairfield, CT/Mt. Bachelor) led the Chaminade men this weekend at the BYU-Hawaii Invitational, finishing with in 13th place with a 27:27 in the 8K event.

 

Garrett Prinslow (Kailua-Kona, HI/Kealekehe) was the Swords next best finisher, placing 17th with a 27:46. 

 

On the women's side, CUH was led by Ashlie Salas-Selem (Kapolei, HI/Kapolei) in 18th with a time of 22:35 in the women's 5K.

 

The Seasiders Spencer Deavila won the race for the men, with a time of 25:07 in the 8K.  BYU-Hawaii won the men's team title as well.  The Seasiders also won the team title on the women's side, with Lacey Krout taking the individual title for BYU-Hawaii with a time of 19;12.      

 

The Swords are back in action next week at the BYU-Hawaii Flat Run in Laie, HI.  The meet starts at 8AM HT.
