Phoenix, AZ- Back on the winning track. Chaminade Women's Tennis evened their record at 1-1 today with a 6-3 win over the Urban Knights of Academy of Art. It was the opening match of the Grand Canyon Tournament for both teams.
The Swords took home wins in #2, #3, #4 and 5 singles to go along with wins in 2 and #3 doubles.
Coach Mosley was impressed with the team effort. “I'm happy with the way we performed. The bottom of the lineup came through with some clutch wins.”
With the win, CUH moves to 1-1. Academy of Art falls to 0-3. The Swords are back in action tomorrow to face Grand Canyon at 8:30 AM MT in Phoenix.
