Phoenix, AZ- The Sword’s Women’s Tennis Team enjoyed their trip to Phoenix, winning four out of five matches, including today’s 9-0 sweep of Colorado State-Pueblo.
Chaminade won all six singles matches, including
Stacey Chaussoy’s 6-0, 6-0 win over Andrea Ortiz in #3 singles.
Audra Takara and
Tiffany DeVincent continued their stellar play, winning in #1 doubles, 8-2.
All three doubles won as well, with
Silkie Kawahakui and
Kiana Iwado defeating Megan Clark and Valerie Boughton 8-3.
The Swords finish the road trip 4-1 and 4-2 overall. CSU-Pueblo falls to 0-4 on the year. The Swords are back in action on Feb. 19th at BYU-Hawaii in Laie, HI. The Seasiders are currently ranked #2 in the nation.
