PHOENIX, AZ- In the final match of the year for the Swords, Chaminade fell to the 'Lopes of GCU by a score of 8-1.
GCU's Kyle Ciliento stole the show, scoring four goals in the first eighteen minutes of action, adding an assist in the 39th minute on the 'Lopes fifth goal of the half. Grand Canyon led at halftime by a score of 5-0.
GCU added three goals in the second half before Chaminade midfielder Chase Kodama (Woodward Hills, CA/Taft) drilled a shot into the upper right corner of the goal off a pass from sophomore
Kyle Suan (Mililani, HI/Mililani) to make it 8-1 with seconds remaining.

Hayes Sperry (Gulf Breeze, FL/Gulf Breeze) stopped five shots for Chaminade.
GCU out-shot CUH 21-7.
With the loss, Chaminade concludes the season at 1-14-1. Grand Canyon moves to 14-2-1.
