Honolulu, HI-The Swords fell this afternoon to the Falcons of Seattle Pacific in three sets (25-18, 25-19, and 25-18) in McCabe Gym.
Facing the undefeated and #26 ranked Falcons proved to be a stiff test for Chaminade. The Swords battled throughout, staying within striking distance of the unbeaten team from Seattle, but were unable to secure a lead.
For better or worse, Chaminade has no time to dwell on the defeat at the hands of the Falcons, the Swords take on the Yellow Jackets of MSU-Billings at 7:30 PM HT tonight.
Coach Nahaku Brown knew Chaminade was in for a battle. “We knew Seattle Pacific has been playing well, the match was good experience for our team, but we were gun-shy. We can't afford to do that tonight; we expect a battle from Billings.”
