WAIPAHU, HI- The Swords took on the Vulcans of UH-Hilo this morning at Central Oahu Regional Park and got a Pac West conference win, defeating UHH by a score of 6-3.
The Swords scored a win at #1 singles with freshman
Yanita Arnaudova (Hazkova, Bulgaria/Azen Zlatarov Foreign Language School) earning the point for CUH. Sophomore
Yuka Kondo (Irvine, Ca/San Joaquin HS) won at #2 singles and freshman
Jan Matsumoto (Honolulu, Oahu/ Maryknoll HS) won at #4 singles for the Swords.
Chaminade dominated doubles play, winning all three doubles matches against the Vulcans to earn the hard-fought conference victory.
CUH is back in action on March 25th against UH-Hilo in Waipahu, HI (CORP). First serve is scheduled for 10 AM HT.
