PHOENIX, AZ- The 2012 CUH Women's Tennis opened the year with a win over the Mustangs of Western New Mexico at the 2012 Grand Canyon Tournament at the Paseo Racquet Club. Led by All PacWest performers
Yuka Kondo (Irvine, CA/San Joaquin) and
Yanita Arnaudova (Haskovo, Bulgaria/Azen Zlatarov Foreign Language School) who won as a doubles team and in both their singles matches, the Swords defeated the Mustangs 6-3.
Coach Mosley commented on the win: “I am proud of the girls today. They fought hard all the way down the lineup. I couldn't ask for a better start to our six match road trip.”
Chaminade faces Metro State today, February 9
th at 12:30 PM MT, followed by Montana State-Billings at 6:30 PM MT, both at Paseo Racquet Club.
