Harada Earns Medalist Honors in Men's Golf Tri-Match

WAHIAWA, O'ahu, Hawai'i – The Chaminade University men's golf team returned to action with a second-place finish at the Aloha at O'ahu Tri-Match Thursday at the par-72, 6,724-yard Leilehua Golf Course.
 
The Silverswords shot a 14-over 302, just five shots behind team-winner, Hawai'i-Hilo. Hawai'i Pacific finished third at 24-over.
 
Chaminade junior Jarin Harada captured medalist honors firing a 2-under-par 70, two shots better than UH-Hilo's James Coon and three better than the Vulcans' Dalen Yamauchi, the 55^th-ranked player in Division II, according to the latest Golfstat rankings.
 
Lucas Park shot a 2-over 74 to finish fourth overall, followed by Justin Taparra (5-over 77) and R.J. Garczynski (9-over 81). Dylan Takabayashi rounded out the Silverswords contingent with an 86.
