Final ResultsWAIMANALO, O'ahu, Hawai'i – As the Pacific West Conference Men's Golf Championships draws nearer, the Chaminade University men's golf team on Wednesday played one of their last tune-up matches before the championships in three weeks.
The Silverswords shot a season-low 291 in a dual match against island rival BYU-Hawai'i at the par-72 Olomana Golf Club. The Seasiders won the match with a 283.
Junior
Jarin Harada continued his impressive play on the course, firing a 4-under-par 68 to capture medalist honors for the second straight match. Harada finished one shot ahead of BYUH's Inoka Kahawaii and Remington Schultz.
Justin Taparra finished with an even-par 72 to finish tied for fifth.
R.J. Garczynski shot a 2-over 74, followed by
Lucas Park (5-over 77) and
Ryan Look (11-over 83).
