Silverswords Blanked at No. 2 BYUH

LAIE, O'ahu, Hawai'i – The Chaminade University women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to BYU-Hawai'i Wednesday at the BYUH Tennis Courts.
 
The Silverswords fell to 0-9 on the season. The Seasiders, ranked No. 1 in the West Region and No. 2 nationally in the latest ITA rankings, improved to 5-0.
 
Kimberly Takara was the only 'Sword to take a game off BYUH before succumbing to Min Liu, the ninth-ranked singles player in the country, 6-0, 6-1 in No. 1 singles.
 
Chaminade is off until Friday, April 8 when it finishes the season at BYUH.
