Jayson Abe announced Friday the first members of the 2019 recruiting class.
Brison Kim is a 6-foot midfielder from Honolulu. A highly decorated graduate of Kalani High School, Kim led the O'ahu Interscholastic Association with 25 goals on-route to 2019 OIA East Division Player of the Year and Honolulu Star-Advertiser All-State First Team honors.

Kekoa Kuloloia is a 6-4 defender from Mililani, O'ahu, and is a graduate of Mililani High School. Kuloloia earned All-OIA First Team honors this past season, helping guide the Trojans to the HHSAA Championships. During the semifinal against Punahou, he scored the game-tying goal which sent the game into overtime. Kuloloia is reunited with his brother, Isaiah, who is entering his senior season with the Silverswords.

Colin Roemer is a transfer from Barton Community College in Great Bend, Kan., a men's junior college soccer power, where he helped the Cougars to an NJCCA national runner-up finish in 2018. The native of Cologne, Germany had five goals and seven assists this past year to earn Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Second Team honors. Roemer had 12 goals and six assists as a freshman and was named all-conference first team and All-Region VI. He also ranks fifth in Barton's all-time assists list.

The Silverswords return 19 from last season's squad that finished the year 6-5-2, the program's first-ever winning season. All four 'Swords who were voted onto the All-Pacific West Conference Third Team last year are back in defender

The Silverswords open the 2019 season on Sept. 13 at Colorado Christian University followed by a Sept. 15 tilt at Metro State in Denver. The two contests in Colorado are the program's first non-conference games on the continental United States since 2014.
