The Silverswords return 19 from last season's squad that finished the year 6-5-2, the program's first-ever winning season. All four 'Swords who were voted onto the All-Pacific West Conference Third Team last year are back in defender Curtis Coburn (Huntington Beach, Calif./Huntington Beach), midfielder Noah Mokulehua (Waimanalo, O'ahu, Hawa'i/Kaiser), goalkeeper Michael Stafford (Honolulu/Iowa Western CC/Kalani HS) and defender Tasman Turner (Kailua, O'ahu, Hawai'i/Iolani).

The Silverswords open the 2019 season on Sept. 13 at Colorado Christian University followed by a Sept. 15 tilt at Metro State in Denver. The two contests in Colorado are the program's first non-conference games on the continental United States since 2014.
