LEXINGTON, Ky. – For the second consecutive week, the Chaminade University women's volleyball team remains in the NCAA Division II national rankings.

The Silverswords are No. 25 in this week's AVCA Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll, released Monday, despite splitting their first two Pacific West Conference matches over the weekend. They downed Hawai'i Pacific University on Friday before suffering a tough four-set loss to Hawai'i Hilo the following day.

The 'Swords, who debuted last week at 21, received 115 points in this week's rankings. They remain the only PacWest team in the rankings, although UH Hilo and Azusa Pacific received votes.

The Silverswords, who played last weekend without their top two attackers in Brooklen Pe'a (Wood Cross, Utah/Youngstown State/Bountiful HS) and Greta Corti (Varese, Italy/University of San Francisco/Alessandro Manzoni Liceo HS), will next be action next Monday, Sept. 27 when they open a four-match Northern California road swing at Academy of Art.
