HONOLULU – Chaminade University women's basketball announced on Sunday schedule changes to its Southern California road trip this week.
Tuesday's game against Academy of Art scheduled in Irvine, Calif., has been called off again due to Pacific West Conference and ART U health and safety protocols. This time, however, ART U athletics administration determined that the game will be canceled. The game was supposed have been played on Dec. 19 in San Rafael, Calif.
The Silverswords have also rescheduled their game at Biola for Friday, Jan. 28, with a 5 p.m. local time tipoff. The game was originally to have been played Saturday. The rescheduled contest against the Eagles will mean the 'Swords will play three consecutive days.
The team will open their road trip on Monday against nationally-ranked Azusa Pacific. However, APU athletic administration announced Friday that spectators will not be allowed in the Felix Event Center until further notice but will provide live and free streaming video for both women's and men's games.
