ATLANTA – The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) on Wednesday cited the Chaminade University women's basketball team on Wednesday for academic excellence for 2021-22.
The Silverswords received Special Mention in the Division II Academic Top 25 list, posting a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.303. The WBCA expanded their list to include programs in all three NCAA Divisions, NAIA and junior colleges with GPAs over 3.000. The newly expanded list began this year.
Chaminade was one of six Pacific West Conference programs to earn academic recognition by the WBCA.
