HONOLULU – Chaminade University Athletics on Thursday honored its student-athletes for their accomplishments for the 2022-23 year with its 12th Annual Athletics Award Ceremony held at the Clarence T.C. Ching Conference Center on the Chaminade campus.
Awards for Most Inspirational, Most Outstanding and Scholar-Athlete were announced for all 10 of the university's intercollegiate athletic programs.
Also announced were the highest team grade-point averages with women's soccer earning the highest average among large-rostered sports (11 or more student-athletes) with a 3.59 GPA. For the second straight year, women's tennis had the highest GPA among small-rostered sports (10 or less) at 3.68.

Isaac Amaral-Artharee was Chaminade's Male Athlete of the Year while women's volleyball's
Lataisia Saulala was the Female Athlete of the Year. The Silversword Award went to
Kaybrie Pe'a from women's volleyball. All three awards were announced at the Chaminade Co-Curricular Awards on April 19.
