WAIPIO, HI – Chaminade was swept by Hawaii Pacific today, 9-0 at Central Oahu Regional Park in the Swords first match in over two weeks.

Yuka Kondo (Irvine, Ca/San Joaquin) was a bright spot, falling to Vivian Hansen 3-6, 6-3, 7-10. Sophomore
Yanita Arnaudova (Hazkova, Bulgaria/Azen Zlatarov Foreign Language School) combined with Kondo for a close, 8-6 defeat in #1 doubles for the Swords.
Coach Mosley commented after the match: “We're pretty disappointed in today's result against HPU. They're a tough team, but we have to rise up to meet that challenge and we didn't do that.”
Chaminade is back in action on March 15th, facing BYU-Hawaii at 2:00 PM HT in Laie, HI.
With today's loss, Chaminade moves to 4-3 on the year. Hawaii Pacific improves to 4-1.
