WAIPIO, Hawai'i – The Chaminade University women's tennis team fell to the University of Hawai'i-Hilo (1-4) Sunday, 7-2, at Patsy T. Mink Central O'ahu Regional Park. The match was a makeup of Friday afternoon's rainout.
Kimberly Takara earned both wins for the Silverswords (0-7). She teamed with
Jan Matsumoto in doubles as they beat the Vulcans' Morrisa Kahakui and Rachel Sugiyama, 8-4.
Takara then defeated Chelsea Sato, 6-1, 6-0 in singles action.
Chaminade returns to action Tuesday when the face Holy Names at CORP Field at 10 a.m.
