KONA, Hawai'i – The Chaminade University women's tennis team opened the Holua Invitational Thursday at the Holua Resort by dropping a 6-3 decision to Hawai'i-Hilo.

Michelle Bucher getting wins. But the tide turned in singles competition where the Vulcans took 5-of-6 with Takara the only 'Swords to capture a singles match.
The Silverswords continue the Holua Invitational Friday when they face Pacific West Conference affiliate member Sonoma State at 3 p.m.
