WAIPIO, O'ahu, Hawai'i – The Chaminade University women's tennis team faced yet another nationally-ranked opponent Thursday, falling 9-0 to No. 12 Academy of Art at Patsy T. Mink Central O'ahu Regional Park.
The Silverswords fell to 0-10 on the season. Six of their losses have been to teams ranked in the ITA Top 25.
The Urban Knights, who are also ranked third in the West Region, improved to 5-2.

Kimberly Takara battled ART U's Lucia Zavarcikova, the West Region's 13
th-ranked player, falling in the first set 6-2, then won via a tiebreaker in the second, 7-6 (7-4) before falling in a 10-point tiebreaker in the third, 10-4.
The start of the match was delayed two hours due to rain.
The 'Swords return to action Tuesday when they host College of Idaho at CORP Field, the first of two matches against the Yotes next week.
