Carsen Bridges

Carsen Bridges is a 5-9 guard from Groveland, Fla., who prepped at Leesburg High School. Bridges was a four-year varsity letterwinner and is coming off a senior year where she averaged 20.5 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 4.5 steals per game. She earned Daily Commercial All-Area First Team, Orlando Sentinel All-Area High Honorable Mention honors and was Leesburg's Most Valuable Player. In her final home game, she poured in 30 points in a win over The Villages School.

Bridges was also a Daily Commercial All-Area First Team member after leading Lake Minneola High, where she attended her first three year of high school, in scoring.

"Carsen can score the basketball in just about every way," King said. "She has the ability to play at a fast pace successfully. Carsen reads the floor well defensively and in transition to involve all of her teammates. We are very fortunate that Carsen chose to be a part of our Chaminade ohana."

Emily Laham signing
Emily Laham

Emily Laham is a 5-6 guard from Maize High School in Potwin, Kan. She was a two-time All-Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail League (AVCTL) Division I Honorable Mention selection and was a Class 5A all-state honorable mention honoree for both Sports in Kansas and Wichita Eagle this past year. She also earned two more all-state honorable mention honors. Laham averaged nine points, five assists and three steals per game during her senior season for the Eagles.

"Emily has a heightened awareness on the court with or without the ball," King said. "She is a physical team defender, a great passer and shooter which makes her a versatile player. We are excited to have Emily with us at Chaminade."

Emma Morris

Emma Morris is a 5-11 guard from Tanque Verde High School in Tuscon, Ariz., where she wrapped up her prep career as the program's all-time leading scorer with 1,323 points and 3-pointers with 209. She also had 616 rebounds and 301 assists in her career. Morris earned numerous accolades at Tanque Verde including Southern Arizona All-3A First Team honors after posting 14.8 points and 8.9 rebounds her senior year. She was also named the Southern Arizona 3A Defensive Player of the Year.

"Emma is a great addition to our program," King said. "She understands how to play without the ball and is a very good perimeter shooter which will help us spread the floor. She has the ability to play all five positions on the court."

The Silverswords lost four seniors to graduation including Destiny Castro (Talofofo, Guam/Notre Dame HS), the program's all-time leader in points and steals, Kali Benavente (Tamuning, Guam/Academy of Our Lady of Guam), Breann Nueku (Honolulu/Clark College/Kamehameha-Kapalama HS) and Kirstin Wong (Laguna Niguel, Calif./Aliso Niguel).
